ANONYM : "Hey, I have good news for all Barchetta owners and/or fans.
Recently, many people signaled that the belgian magazine "Le Moniteur Automobile/Auto Gids" published a little article saying that, after 7 years of good commercial carreer, the production of the Fiat Barchetta will stop.
WRONG!!!
I have contacted the Press Relations at the belgian importer, and I have gently been told that "Le Moniteur Automobile/Auto Gids" has made a HUGE mistake!!!
This is exactly what happened, follow the story...
In just a few weeks, the annual Paris Motorshow will be held in the french capital. Each year, a little guide to the motorshow is published : all the cars presented by the car manufacturers are described in this guide. But this is how it SHOULD be... This year, the Fiat Barchetta was simply FORGOTTEN from this guide!!! Who's fault is it ? Simple : the editor of the guide is guilty!!!
The problem is that some french journalists working for "Le Moniteur Automobile/Auto Gids" just DEDUCED from this lack that first the import in France, then the production of the Fiat Barchetta was to be stopped!!!
This is the official explanation... Sorry for the lenght of this message, but everybody wanted and needed to know!
