A Hacker attacked the www.barchetta.info today (10/04/2002 between 7:00pm and 8:00pm).
Today the www.barchetta.info was the aim of a hacker's attack.
" Mr. X " used existing security gaps to change some files on the www.barchetta.info, so instead of the usual picture something like
"defaced by Mr. X "
was shown.
As far as I can see up to now, no irreperabler damage has appeared.
At present I assume the user's passwords were not revealed and also no important parts of the www.barchetta.info were changed.
I have done some preventive measures about which I do not want to speak here.
Should the hacker belong to the regular readers of the www.barchetta.info and have pursued "deface" as a joke, i forgive him ;-).
On the contrary, I would be glad if he announces himself to me and helps me to trace possibly existing security gaps.
However, to be on the safe side change your user-password from time to time.
